Community Standards and No-Tolerance Policy

SoStack has zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users.

Objectionable or abusive behavior includes, without limitation:

• Harassment, bullying, or targeted abuse
• Hate speech or discriminatory abuse
• Nudity, sexual exploitation, or sexual abuse content
• Violence, threats, or encouragement of harm
• Spam, scams, fraud, or deceptive behavior
• Impersonation and malicious identity misuse

Users can report content and block abusive users from within the app. We review reports and may remove content, restrict accounts, suspend users, or take other enforcement action.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use SoStack. If you are under 18, you represent that you have parental or guardian consent.

You represent that:

• You have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
• You are not barred from using the Service under applicable law.

2. Account Registration and Security

Accounts are created via phone-number authentication using one-time password verification.

You agree to:

• Provide accurate information.
• Maintain control over your phone number.
• Not share your authentication credentials.
• Not create multiple accounts for abusive purposes.

You are responsible for all activity under your account.

We may suspend or terminate accounts at our sole discretion.

3. Nature of the Service

SoStack is a communication and coordination platform that allows users to:

• Create private groups
• Send messages
• Create and manage shared calendar events
• Follow public groups
• Create public groups (SoStack Plus)
• Run internal promotional campaigns

SoStack is a neutral platform and does not endorse, verify, or guarantee any user-generated content unless explicitly stated.

We are not responsible for:

• The accuracy of public group content
• Whether events occur as described
• Interactions between users
• Outcomes of meetings or events

4. User Content

You retain ownership of your content.

By posting content, you grant SoStack a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable license to host, store, reproduce, display, distribute, and modify content solely to operate and improve the Service.

You represent and warrant that:

• You have all rights necessary to post your content.
• Your content does not violate any law or third-party rights.

We may remove content at any time without notice.

5. Public Groups and Advertising

Public group administrators are solely responsible for:

• The legality and accuracy of their content
• Compliance with advertising and consumer protection laws
• Any claims made in promotions

Advertising is internal to SoStack. We do not guarantee:

• Specific impressions
• Click-through rates
• Event attendance
• Engagement levels

Campaigns may be paused, rejected, or terminated at our discretion.

All advertising deposits and subscription payments are non-refundable except as required by law.

6. Payments and Subscriptions

Certain features require payment.

Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled prior to renewal.

Payments are processed via Stripe or applicable app stores.

We are not responsible for billing disputes handled by third-party processors.

7. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Harass or threaten users
• Post unlawful, defamatory, or infringing content
• Impersonate others
• Interfere with platform security
• Reverse engineer or scrape the Service
• Use automation to extract data
• Circumvent safeguards or rate limits

Violation may result in immediate termination.

8. DMCA Policy

If you believe content infringes your copyright, you may submit a DMCA takedown notice to:

Your notice must include:

• Identification of the copyrighted work
• Identification of the infringing material
• Your contact information
• A statement of good faith belief
• A statement under penalty of perjury
• Your physical or electronic signature

We may remove or disable access to allegedly infringing material.

Repeat infringers may have accounts terminated.

9. Privacy

Use of SoStack is governed by our Privacy Policy.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.”

WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING:

• MERCHANTABILITY
• FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE
• NON-INFRINGEMENT
• UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION

We do not guarantee uptime, reliability, or availability.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

SoStack Limited Liability Company shall not be liable for:

• Indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or exemplary damages
• Loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunity
• Personal injury arising from user interactions

Our total liability shall not exceed the greater of:

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless SoStack Limited Liability Company and its officers, members, employees, and affiliates from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses arising out of:

• Your use of the Service
• Your content
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of third-party rights

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for any reason.

You may delete your account in-app.

Upon termination:

• Your license to use the Service ends immediately.
• Certain provisions survive termination.

14. Binding Arbitration

PLEASE READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY.

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved exclusively through binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules.

Arbitration shall take place in Texas.

You waive the right to a trial by jury.

Arbitration shall be conducted on an individual basis.

15. Class Action Waiver

You agree that any dispute resolution will be conducted only on an individual basis and not in a class, consolidated, or representative action.

You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law principles.

17. Changes to the Service or Terms

We may modify the Service or these Terms at any time. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance.
